🕉️By using Veda Sevas, you enter into a sacred agreement to honor these terms and conduct yourself with dharmic principles.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Devotee," or "you") and Veda Sevas ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a banner notification on the Platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Virtual Puja Services: Live-streamed Hindu ceremonies conducted by qualified priests
Offline Temple Services: In-person ceremonies at temples and sacred locations
Priest Consultation: Direct communication with spiritual practitioners
Reservation Management: Booking, scheduling, and payment processing
Spiritual Resources: Educational content and ceremony recordings

Service Availability

Services are subject to priest availability, temple schedules, and auspicious timing considerations. We strive to accommodate your spiritual needs but cannot guarantee specific dates or times.

Important: Spiritual services are provided for religious and cultural purposes. Results and spiritual benefits may vary based on individual faith, devotion, and karmic factors.

Account Management

Maintain accurate account information
Protect login credentials securely
Use authentic identity for bookings
Report unauthorized account access

Respectful Conduct

Honor spiritual traditions and customs
Communicate respectfully with priests
Follow ceremony guidelines and instructions
Respect sacred timing and rituals

Prohibited Activities

Using the Platform for non-spiritual or commercial purposes
Disrupting ceremonies or disrespecting religious practices
Sharing inappropriate content or offensive material
Attempting to circumvent payment systems
Impersonating priests or other users
Violating intellectual property rights

📅Reservations & Bookings

Booking Process

Select desired Puja service and priest
Choose preferred date and time (subject to availability)
Provide special requirements or intentions
Consult with the assigned priest to finalize ceremony details
Complete payment after consultation to confirm reservation
Receive confirmation and ceremony details

Confirmation & Changes

Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon successful payment following priest consultation
Modifications: Changes subject to priest availability and may incur fees
Rescheduling: Must be requested at least 48 hours in advance
Special Requests: Communicated directly with assigned priest during consultation

Auspicious Timing: Some ceremonies require specific astrological timing. Priests may recommend alternative dates for maximum spiritual benefit.

💳Payment Terms

Payment Processing

Consultation First: After booking a service, you will have a consultation with the assigned priest to discuss your requirements and ceremony details
Payment After Consultation: Payment is collected after the priest consultation is complete and both parties confirm the service details
Accepted Methods: Credit cards and debit cards via Stripe
Currency: All prices displayed in USD unless otherwise specified
Security: All transactions processed through secure, encrypted channels
Receipts: Digital invoices provided for all completed payments

Pricing & Fees

Service Fees: Clearly displayed before booking confirmation
Platform Fee: Small processing fee added to cover operational costs
Additional Costs: Special materials or extended ceremonies may incur extra charges
Price Changes: Confirmed reservations honor original pricing

Dakshina (Offering): Traditional voluntary offerings to priests are separate from service fees and can be provided directly during or after ceremonies.

🏷️Promotional Codes & Discounts

Promo Code Usage

One Per User: Each promotional code may be used only once per user account
One Per Booking: Only one promo code can be applied per reservation
Non-Transferable: Promo codes are tied to the account that redeems them and cannot be transferred
Validity Period: Codes must be applied before their expiration date
Usage Limits: Some codes have a maximum total number of redemptions across all users

Discount Application

Percentage Discounts: Applied to the service fee; may be subject to a maximum discount cap
Fixed Amount Discounts: Deducted directly from the service fee
Minimum Order: Some codes require a minimum service amount to be eligible
Final Price: The discounted amount is shown before payment confirmation

Restrictions

Promo codes cannot be combined with other offers or discounts
We reserve the right to deactivate or modify promotional codes at any time
Abuse of promotional codes (e.g., creating multiple accounts) may result in account suspension
Refunds for cancelled bookings that used a promo code are processed based on the cancellation policy; any platform credit issued reflects the discounted amount originally paid

Note: Promotional codes are offered at our discretion as a gesture of goodwill. They do not constitute a right to discounted services and may be withdrawn without prior notice.

🎁Referral Program & Credits

How the Referral Program Works

Users may invite others to join the Platform through a unique referral code or link. When a referred individual signs up and completes their first purchase, both the referrer and the referred user receive credit as described below.

Referee Credit: The referred person receives $15 in credit upon signing up, available toward their first service booking
Referrer Credit: The referring user earns $15 in credit only after the referred person completes their first purchase on the Platform
Unlimited Referrals: There is no cap on the number of people a user may refer
Promotional Periods: Credit amounts may be temporarily increased during special promotions at our discretion

Using Referral Credits

Application: Credits may be applied during checkout for any service on the Platform
Stacking: Referral credits may be combined with promotional codes on the same booking
Non-Transferable: Credits are tied to the user account that earned them and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash
No Cash Value: Referral credits have no monetary value outside the Platform and are not redeemable for cash
Expiration: Credits do not currently expire; however, we reserve the right to introduce expiration policies with reasonable advance notice

Restrictions & Anti-Abuse

Self-referral (referring your own email or alternate accounts) is prohibited
Creating multiple accounts to exploit the referral program will result in forfeiture of all credits and possible account suspension
Referral credits earned through fraudulent or deceptive means will be revoked without notice
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time
If a referred user's first purchase is refunded or reversed, the corresponding referrer credit will not be issued or will be clawed back if already granted

Note: The referral program is designed to reward genuine community growth. We monitor referral activity and reserve the right to withhold credits if we detect patterns inconsistent with good-faith participation.

🔄Cancellation & Refund Policy

ℹ️Because payment is collected only after a priest consultation where service details are mutually confirmed, refunds are generally not available. Please review the options below.

Cancellation by User

48+ hours before service: Platform credit for the full amount, or rescheduling at no additional cost
Less than 48 hours: No refund or credit
Emergency situations: Case-by-case review at our discretion

Cash refunds are not provided. Cancellations made 48 or more hours before the scheduled service may be converted to a platform credit or rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date.

Cancellation by Platform

Priest unavailability: Full refund or rescheduling with an alternative priest
Technical issues: Full refund or rescheduling
Force majeure: Platform credit for future use
Policy violations: At our sole discretion

Credit & Rescheduling: Platform credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be applied toward any service. Rescheduling is subject to priest availability.

⚖️Liability & Disclaimers

Spiritual Services Disclaimer

Important: Puja services are provided for spiritual, religious, and cultural purposes. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, material benefits, or life changes resulting from ceremonies.

Platform Limitations

Technical Issues: We are not liable for internet connectivity or streaming problems
Third-Party Services: Payment processors and external services have their own terms
Content Accuracy: Priest profiles and service descriptions provided in good faith
Availability: Services subject to priest schedules and external factors

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use or spiritual services.

Users participate in spiritual services at their own discretion and assume responsibility for their spiritual journey and any decisions made based on ceremonies or consultations.

🔒Intellectual Property

Platform Content

Trademarks: Platform name, logos, and branding are our property
Software: Platform code and functionality protected by copyright
Content: Service descriptions, educational materials, and interface elements
User License: Limited, non-exclusive right to use platform for personal spiritual purposes

Ceremony Recordings

Personal Use: Recordings provided for personal spiritual practice only
No Distribution: Sharing or commercial use of recordings prohibited
Sacred Content: Respect the spiritual nature of recorded ceremonies
Retention: Access to recordings may be time-limited

Sacred Traditions: Hindu mantras, rituals, and spiritual practices are part of ancient traditions. We respect their sacred nature and expect users to do the same.

🏛️Governing Law & Disputes

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Dispute Resolution

Direct Communication: First attempt to resolve through customer support
Mediation: Good faith mediation if direct resolution fails
Arbitration: Binding arbitration for unresolved disputes
Court Action: Limited to specific circumstances as outlined in full terms

Dharmic Resolution: We encourage resolving disputes through understanding, compassion, and mutual respect, in keeping with spiritual principles.
